Star Wars: Attack Squadrons
Just when you thought that there was no way another dang
Star Wars game was going to be presented, Mickey Mouse over at Disney had to
make one more. Attack Squadrons was recently released by Disney on December 17,
2013. The game was made by Area 52 games along with Disney. LucasArts, another
household name, took part in developing this new game. One of the best Star Wars Games online was Star Wars The Old Republic Mac. Click here to go to the website for the download.
Description
Attack Squadrons lets players build and make their own
ships. There are online battles with up to 16 others players in the match.
There is a trailer below if you would like to take a sneak peak into the
action. The difference between this and many other recently made Star Wars
games is that this will not involve you actually being in a first-person
character mode. It is only a ship-based game.
How Much Does it Cost?
The best part about this game is that it costs Nada! Zero!
Ziltch! Attack Squadrons is a free to play game. It has recently had its beta
version released, which can be downloaded if you Click Here.
I’m sure you’re thinking free to play means the game will be
crap and they won’t keep it updated since no on is keen to donating to Disney,
but some of the best Star Wars Games are free to play. For example, Star Wars
The Old Republic for mac is a great game and doesn’t cost one penny to play.
The game will be released in probably Spring of 2014. This game will be a good
precursor to the new Star Wars: Battlefront III that will be available in 2015.The release for these games is longer than games like Star Wars the Old republic mac because they are a little more advanced games.
Of course there isn’t has much hype for this game since we
didn’t even know much about it before this press release, but I don’t see why
it can’t be fun and entertaining for a free to play game developed by a great
studio. Hopefully it can beat the Star Fox games, but that would be a difficult
task at hand.
No one is quite sure if this game will be made only
available to PC users or if Mac gamers will get the chance to get their apple
ridden hands on it too. SWTOR for mac had a huge following but BioWare never
released a mac client. Click here to try it out. Probably, just to lazy and the money usually isn’t their
for mac gamers. If Attack Squadrons doesn’t make a mac version then gamers
better get ready to get Bootcamp and VMWare installed on their computers or
else miss out on what looks to be a great free to play game.
